Being a blessing to others is important to Discovery. In our quest to love God we never tire to express that love to others. Discovery participates in several community service opportunities throughout the year. If you'd like more information on how you can be involved in the community please contact Chad McMillan.

Join others at Discovery partnering with Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing ministry.
Habitat welcomes all people--regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or any other difference--to build simple, decent, affordable houses with those who lack adequate shelter.

Join others at Discovery partnering with World Vision in reaching children or youth who are struggling academically and/or socially.
KidREACH is a program of World Vision offered at present in Seattle, Tacoma, West Virginia and Albany, Georgia. KidREACH is a free after-school program for children and youth who are struggling academically and/or socially. In partnership with KidREACH, churches and other community organizations provide a structured and safe environment for the program to meet. Volunteers receive training in basic tutoring skills as well as in reading, writing and math. KidREACH is more than just a tutoring program; volunteers work one-to-one with a child in a long-term mentoring capacity.
