Discovery offers care to children birth through high school. Each age group has its own area that is transformed every week into a safe, fun, and exciting place for children of all ages to learn about God’s love! We are committed to providing your child with a wonderful environment in which he or she is loved, encouraged, and presented with the amazing opportunity to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

BABY GARDEN

Baby Garden is the perfect place for your little one to grow! Your child will receive the attention and care that will help him or her feel at ease during the worship service.

Our staff is prepared to love and meet the needs of your child. In Baby Garden your little one will have freedom to play in a safe and secure environment allowing you to enjoy the worship service. Our workers are dedicated to providing the best possible care for you and your child.

TODDLERVILLE

Toddlerville is a great place for your toddler to learn about Jesus! Toddlerville is designed for the developmental needs of young children.

They play and interact with each other as a group and then they have time for a special Bible story and craft. The morning ends with snack and extra play time before going home.

PROMISETOWN

Promisetown offers young children the opportunity to learn about Jesus in a safe, fun, and interactive environment.

The children spend time together as a large group and then break into smaller groups with more individualized adult attention as they learn a Bible story through songs, crafts, snack, and creative activities.

FAITHLAND

Faithland is a place for elementary-aged children to learn what it means to be a follower of Jesus and how to love others – all in an energetic and fun atmosphere.

Each week kids come to play zany games, participate in energetic worship, and learn Biblical truths through crazy skits and funny stories. Jesus’ love is taught not only through lessons, but also from the caring relationships our volunteers develop with every child.

There’s no doubt that Faithland can rock the house.

FAQs

Who is with my child?

Every person serving in Kids Kingdom serves because he or she has demonstrated a love for children and an understanding of the responsibility that is required in caring for them. Each volunteer goes through a background check, a training orientation, and is supervised by a ministry leader.

What is the procedure to drop off and pick up my child?

We have taken several steps to ensure the safety of your child. A volunteer will greet you at a sign-in table at the entrance to the ministry. He or she will take your name and your child’s name. Your child will be given a name tag and number and you will be given a matching tag and number that you will be asked to show when you came back to pick up your child. You will also be asked to write down any pertinent information regarding your child, such as allergies or special needs. You are welcome to escort your child into their ministry area so you can see the class and meet the other teachers.

What if my child is upset?

Many children have initial separation anxiety but calm down very quickly. If your child remains upset for a prolonged period, we will flash the number from your parent/child name tag on the screen so you will know to come to check on your child, or someone will come get you.

What if there is an emergency?

Each ministry area has emergency exits and volunteers have been trained to take the children outside and meet the parents at the front of the building. Each ministry also has a first aid kit for minor problems.

What will my child do while I’m in church?

Every week volunteers prepare a variety of activities for children to experience on Sunday mornings. The children enjoy music, crafts, skits, prayer, games, snacks, stories, and much, much more. Most importantly the children establish relationships with volunteers who care about them and are willing to invest in these children so both the volunteer and children develop a stronger relationship with Jesus.
