“White Awake” Discussion Group

We think this is a great place to start for everyone who has grown up as a white person in the U.S. and who are eager to reflect on their own cultural identity as it relates to their faith. We will be reading though the book "White Awake" by Daniel Hill.

Meeting Sundays 12pm-1:30pm at Lincoln High School with family-style lunch served at 11:30am.

This group is facilitated by Emily Williams and Kyle Absher.

Childcare is available from 12:00-1:30.

White folks who have participated in Be The Bridge groups at Discovery are invited to participate in this White Awake Study Group. It is our hope that those who engage in the White Awake Study Group are well equipped to engage in a future multi-racial Be The Bridge Conversation Group.

We will be gathering on these 6 dates: April 24, May 1, 15, 22, June 5 & 12.
